When I was a little girl my daddy took me all kinds of places so I didn’t watch much TV or go to many movies. My memories revolve around spending summers at the lake and riding the three wheeler from sun up until sun set. I was maybe 12 or 13 when we got the now outlawed machine that flipped me over through no ones fault but my own, being the wild child that I was.
As my teenage years started I still did not watch much TV, my dad didn’t let me watch sit coms and that was about all there was in the 80’s. He said I needed to learn real life before I can laugh at it.
Now that I am past 40 I am still not watching TV or going to movies, as I have said before my husband and I agreed to not watch TV until we run out of things to talk about, and I don’t plan on getting there anytime soon.
This is my reality TV written and produced by me likely never coming to a theater near you but guaranteed your own will always be playing.
Thank you to todays inspiration for a reminder of why a life without TV is the best way for me.
